My first day back at school was not as exciting as I thought it would be. When I got to school, it was a surprise to see that each grade had an assigned entrance and exit point. As the day went on, things only got weirder with the socially distanced seating arrangements in classrooms and in the commons. It was quite the spectacle. No one really noticed that we had all returned. The went on like it was a normal school day. It was as if COVID hadn't completely changed our lives. I am definitely looking forward to the time when all of this blows over and we are allowed to have no masks and the school's new arrangements can go back to normal. This catastrophe does not need to happen again. At least...not anytime soon.
